Anybody know what this weird bit of Chinese agrobiodiversity might be? Google knows nothing about it, at least under the spelling provided: “orsun.”

Stem lettuce?
“Wosun” or something like it is one of the names I’ve heard for stem lettuce or celtuce. That’s what it looks like to me. I’ve just looked it up on Wikipedia http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Celtuce (must be true then) and it seems to concur. That’s my guess.
