  1. Kernza: “In general, perennials have an advantage in the landscape,” Magnusson said.” Depends on the landscape. Farmers all over the place domesticated cereals from wild annuals. They obviously knew something that wise US professors still do not know.
    At least the kernza has one major advantage – it is introduced to the US and therefore likely to perform `better’.
