A couple of people have reported problems with the comment system here. As it happens, both had Hotmail accounts, and messages from Hotmail were being bounced. I have no way of knowing whether this is a problem with the blog software or with Hotmail itself (and I am not about to sign up for Hotmail just to see). So, if you have a Hotmail account — or any insight into the problem — could you please try and share that information by leaving a comment to this post?

Are you running anti-spam plugins to your blogging software? Often, Hotmail will end up blocked outright because with no barrier for entry spammers often use it for registering fake accounts.
I see you’ve got WordPress, which ships with Akismet. I’m not sure if you’re using that, but if you are it should show blocked comments in the admin interface. However, I’m equally unsure (hooray for uncertainty?) whether it would categorically block comments from Hotmail. I think it’s supposed to be smarter than that, but who knows?
We’re running Akismet on WP, yes, but I have not seen any spam from those Hotmail addresses in the queue. Thanks for the thought, though. I’ll check again soon.
