Shoot, better fetishized than lost or languishing in a germplasm collection… For better or worse this is exactly how U.S. food system is re-diversifying and putting some utilization into the conservation of crop germplasm.. I think its great.. “Eat it to save it!”
I agree … although I wouldn’t go so far as to call all germplasm accessions “languishing”. How about “taking a break”?
