Fancy blasting plants with mutation-inducing atomic rays? Good news just in from our friend Norman Warthmann, who recently joined the Plant Breeding and Genetics Laboratory of the FAO/IAEA joint Division in Vienna, Austria. They have two fairly high-level job openings. I can’t actually find the vacancy notices on the site, but I’m sure if you email Norman, he’ll send them to you.
Good luck.
LATER: One of the jobs is as a plant breeder.
Dear Dr. Norman,
I have been working at ICARDA for the past 15 years (2000-2015) in different fields: seed health laboratory, legumes pathlogy, cereal pathology, entomology, Spring Bread Wheat Breeding Program. Specialized in molecular characterization of pathogen population, phenotyping, genotyping, artificial inoculation and artificial infestation screening for resistance to different plant pests. Good command in entomopathogenic fungi, molecular biology and so many other related issues.
I’m interested to continue in research.
I do highly appreciate to contact with you in regards to the availability of work.
I am ready to send my recent C.V if it’s required.
Best regards
Samer Murad
