Satay to go

The BBC reports that the government in Kuala Lumpur is planning to give cash incentives to people who want to open Malaysian restaurants abroad. I’m all for it, Malaysian food is great. And it’s got to be good news for all those weird local vegetables, fruits and spices, right? But of course the idea wont get anywhere without a celebrity chef.

  1. My wife and I had open a Malaysian restaurant here in US. WOuld like to talk to a Malaysian government officer more on promoting and expanding on the restaurant. We sell bakery like steam buns, kaya buns, siew paus, curry puffs and others. In fact we are proud to say we are the only one in the state we are doing business to have siew paus.
