While tall plants are cool, I can’t figure out what the advantage of this really is – after all, all the resources the plant put into stem growth were unavailable for seed (or leaf) production.
Interesting, but odd. Why Amaranth? They don’t have a world record for every species, but they do have: largest carp caught in Thailand, and longest dandelion…what a weird and wonderful site!
