Call me old-fashioned, but I have a soft spot for this kind of poster. This particular example was at CSIR’s Plant Genetic Resources Institute, Bunso, Ghana. Beats an SSR dendrogram thingie any time.

And easy access to the Brainfood Archive.
Some very good news from Mohamed Amar, head of the Egyptian Deserts Gene Bank:
I can confirm that we have been rebuilding the Egyptian deserts gene bank in new form during the year and a half.
Here’s hoping we get more information soon.

Interesting poster, thank you for sharing.
Hello LUIGI GUARINO,
I am doing a research on a particular type of Cassava known in Ghana as ‘Agege’. This variety is specifically used in processing ‘gari’ a common West African Staple.
Could you please help me with where in Ghana I could get this type and if possible any other name for this “Agege” type of Cassava. I called CSIR in Kumasi but unfortunately they do not know the ‘Agege’. I will be extremely gratful for an email response from you.
