You can argue about this question all day, but one thing certain. No way do Brazil’s unwashed arabigos qualify as even a decent cup of coffee, compared to the high altitud ‘suaves’ of Colombia, the Andes and Mexico and Central America. This is just propaghanda, sorry.

You want biodiversity-friendly farming practices? Talk to Indigenous people. The Committee on World Food Security (CFS) has launched an e-consultation on “Preserving, strengthening and promoting Indigenous Peoples’ food and knowledge systems and traditional practices for sustainable food systems.”
There’s diversity in asparagus too.
