Your Brussels correspondent sat through (almost) the whole day of agroecology at the European Parliament.

The presentations were of variable quality. Most were strong on the potential of agroecology as an article of faith, but all were weak on evidence.

When finally it came to a speaker who “studied applied Economics at the University of Leuven” and “uses Theory U, the art of hosting, storytelling, system-thinking, multi-stakeholder-approach, change labs, spirituality, quantum physics, …”, your corresponent made his excuses and left.
