  4. well sherry i have a daughter who wants one too but if we knew were to get one we wouldnt be on this site would we now.

  5. Jamie, Sherrey, all of you. I really wish we could help directly. Golly, we might even get rich. But we can’t. Go to the Pennywell Farm web site, which I linked to above, and try there. But they’ve been swamped.

Alternatively, you could start a breeding programme of your own. we’d love to hear how you get on.

  6. umm hi im 13 years old and jeremy i have already checked the website and it didnt answer any of my questions so i was wondering since you seem to know so much about these pigs and all do u know how much in dollars australian 1 would cost and how long it wwould take to get one?

  7. glenda it sais in nearly all of the websites about pocket pigs that they dont grow to be any bigger than a lap dog! c’mon people just look it up yourself!!!

  8. Hi Danya. I’m sorry we can’t help, but we really don’t know any more about these pigs than what anyone can find on the internet. We found out about them from the BBC website like lots of other people, and that’s pretty much where we left it. Really, the best thing you can do is go to the website of the farm involved and drop them a line. This is the place to do it: http://www.pennywellfarm.co.uk/contact.html

    Good luck!

  9. How do you get a pocket Pig in the US ???????Please let me know i will do anything to get one of those adorable piggys!!!!!!!!

  10. I have a miniature pot belly pig named Kirby. I live in Cleveland Ohio, and a friend told me about Pocket Pigs. I too would love a pocket pig to keep my Kirby company. My 100 pound German Shepard is great with him, but I believe another pig would be better!!! Now, just how to get one here!! Also, just so others have the knowledge about pigs. They are VERY cute, but they need a lot of attention, love, and things do and learn, or they get bored and tear up the house!!!

  11. My husband, Keith and I are retired living in Grants Pass Oregon on one acre. We have wanted a small pig for years and Keith kept saying lets just wait because they will breed tiny ones and thats the size we need. So it looks like the time is here and we were soooo excited to see the precious precious angels. Please let us know if and when we could add 2 of them to our little family. They would have the most loving safe home ever:) Thank you so much. Look forward to hearing from you about info on adopting a pair.

  17. @Anina

    Hi Anina
Just wondering if you ever found any one in SA who breeds the teacup pigs? I am also looking to buy a pair and would welcome any info you may have got through your search :)
    Carly

  18. @carly – Hey Carly!
I have done some research conserning these pigs. They are not bread in South Africa, but can be brought over with milz of paperwork. They are mostly bread overseas in England ect. The other small breed pigs found here is our “potbelly’s”. Very tempered, but just as adorable!
On the other hand with the “pocket pigs”. Looking at the history of these pigs, it’s not a very amusing sight. On various websights, it is said that the pigs were under fed over a long run and they addapted and grew smaller over time. These piggies are a bit bigger that the photo’s on the web shows because these are mostly new borns. Hope I gave you enough info :-)
    Regards Anina

  19. Anina, not sure if you have information regarding teacup pigs in South Africa, if you do, can you please supply details, thank you

  20. I just purchased a pocket pig – she is 2 -3 months old and she is cute – BUT she also is just as demanding as a baby – when she wants to eat or potty or whatever it, is a NOW thing. I can see why it takes a special person to raise them – it is nothing like having a puppy or a litten, lots more work. She is taking a bottle every 2 -3 hours.
These people do have 4 more available – 2 males and 2 females.

    1. Hi this is Angelica I was wondering where you purchased one from I am looking for two but I live in Louisiana and I am just not sure how to find them.
