- We missed the first UK fungus day yesterday.
- And the new world record pumpkin. Love that wide-angle lens, BTW.
- And a training course on plant genetic resources and genebank management.
- But not plant biodiversity to regenerate more productive pastures.
- Nor efforts to conserve navara red rice.
- Kudos to Ghana, the first country with a national yam strategy.
- And to Australia, for muddying the linguistic waters with something called a PlantBank.
- Local farmers supply the food for school meals in Africa.
- By far the strangest thing I’ve seen since a seed exploded a spliff some while ago.
Arche Noah asked me to remove the cartoons for a few days until they could sort out how they wanted credit and links back to their website(s). I guess several people are involved in the cartoon, and they weren’t all ready for them to be set free on the Internet. Sorry for the inconvenience… Please check back soon!
I saw the cached version….and wish I could unsee it. Holy green man, – I think a spliff may have been involved in this as well. Mascara and rouge on a sprout and a conveyor belt leading to a bloody death….and all before I’ve even had morning tea.
